Datuk LSr Haji Johari bin Wahab is a distinguished Licensed Land Surveyor with over 30 years of extensive experience in the land surveying and geomatics industry. He holds a Bachelor (Honours) Degree in Land Surveying from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and possesses strong technical expertise in cadastral surveying, engineering surveying, and Underground Survey and Mapping (USM). In the corporate landscape, Datuk Johari is the Founder and Principal of AJ Surveyors (M) Sdn Bhd, a leading Bumiputera surveying firm in Malaysia, where he provides strategic leadership and drives the company’s growth, innovation, and service excellence. He also serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Puncak Niaga Holdings Berhad, contributing his professional insight in governance, risk management, and corporate strategy at the board level. In addition to his industry and corporate leadership, Datuk Johari is actively involved in academia and talent development. He serves as CEO@PolyCC (Geomatics) at Politeknik Sultan Ahmad Shah (POLISAS), where he contributes to strengthening industry-academic collaboration and nurturing future geomatics professionals. He is also appointed as CEO@Faculty at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), reflecting his commitment to bridging industry expertise with academic excellence. Beyond his corporate and academic roles, he is actively involved in professional leadership through Persatuan Juruukur Tanah Bertauliah (PEJUTA) and other related industry organisations, playing a key role in advancing professional standards, policy development, and best practices within the surveying fraternity. On 27 March 2026, he was elected as Vice President of PEJUTA during the 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM), reflecting the strong confidence placed in his leadership, experience, and vision for the future of the profession.
